introduce yourself

Born and raised on the Westcoast (Cali), now residing in the southeast

(North carolina), and i’m learning it ain’t where you’re from, it’s where you’re at. people say i’m easy-going, free-spirited.. i feel it’s the only way to be. honest music moves me. if you catch me dancing, afrobeat or soul is in the air. sustainabilty, nutrition and photography are very important to me. and all three are connected to┬ánature.. all things are connected.

fav lyric from a song

“spirit must reside in my flesh because the sunlights here”

‘wrong way’, georgia anne Muldrow.

she’s beautifully dope.

who and what inspires you?

the Moon and the Sun. one reflects the other. we are made through one

another. we cannot have one without the other.

icons past & present

I have many but Nikki Giovanni and Audre Lorde come to mind. Their

writing opened me, it tapped into the deepest part of my soul. I own

just about every piece of literature they’ve published.

the nublack philosophy/mantra according to e.Lisha
