[Watch] Melanie Fiona Covers Alanis Morisette’s ‘Ironic’

We’ve loved Melanie Fiona since her debut here at Parlour, so when I happened upon this Billboardvideo of our girl Meli covering Alanis Morisette‘s “Ironic,” I had to share. Maybe it’s just me but this 1990s cut went perfectly with my teen angst and fetish for the color green back in the day. Hell, who am I kidding, I still love a good green item that refuses to match whatever else I’m wearing. Melanie’s full-bodied voice actually does “Ironic” justice and I love the idea of contemporary artists covering classics like this. Now if we can just get Meek Mill to do LL Cool J‘s “Jiggling Baby” or something …
