My Name is Emeka alams, everyday I wake up I thank god for another day and for the opportunities he’s given me. I keep it all bottled in but it the pressure helps me create. Ive been drawing and painting since I was born and now I do it for a living. I founded the indie streetwear label 21MC but recently decided to move on to bigger, better and brighter things.
Now I’m the designer for gold coast trading (coming very soon) and I romanticize Africa whenever, wherever possible. I split my time living between West Africa and the west coast of the U.S. I love the sun and hope to be back in Africa soon! I miss my mom’s cooking!
Fav lyric from a song
“ALL I NEED IS ONE LIFE, ONE TRY, ONE BREATH I’M ONE MAN WHAT I STAND FOR SPEAKS FOR ITSELF, THEY DON’T UNDERSTAND” – Nas

Icons past and present
As far as looking to someone in admiration there thousands who fit that position like, men who take care of their families, teachers who actually teach and those who do their best to live a upright life in this system. People like Steve Biko and MLK were good examples of that. As far as individuals who are iconic in my craft currently; Jeremy Scott, Tony Bourdain, Afrikan boy, MIA, tv on the radio.
The nublack philosophy/mantra according to Emeka Alams
The day you let someone else’s actions change who you are you lose yourself. Don’t waste time, if it makes sense listen. Not everyone who says they love you has your best interest at heart. Know yourself! Study!
GO visit Africa it will change your life and give you the best education money can buy.
Oh and every problem is a opportunity in disguise!
