[Architecture] ArchiAfrika: putting modern African architectural culture on the map

ArchiAfrika was founded in 2001 by a group of Dutch architects that spent many years in Africa. When they returned to the Netherlands, they discovered that African architecture was relatively unknown in the Western world and wanted to do something in order to change this situation.

ArchiAfrika aims to put (modern) African architectural culture on the world map. It offers a platform for the exchange of news and expertise in this field, whilst initiating and facilitating research and projects on the terrain of African architecture and architecture in Africa.
