A first generation Taiwanese-American, Linda grew up in the Dallas suburb of Carrollton, TX. Though she has also lived in other states, she still considers herself a fellow Texan. "Once a Texan, always a Texan." With her older sister, Dora, and younger brother, Michael, they are the three children of Tony and Janet Kang. She often blames the middle-child syndrome for her deep desire to perform, which was her way of getting everybody's attention. Linda has an innate interest in performing arts that could be seen from a very early age. She wrote her first play in third grade. During recess she would bring props and costumes, audition and cast her friends for roles in her play, and direct them through the scenes. Linda realized then that she wanted to take her passion for acting to another level. Her formal training came from the acting classes of one of Atlanta's finest theatres, gained on-camera experience with low budget films and student projects, and quickly took off on a roller coaster ride of the entertainment industry. Linda has been able to land film roles ranging from a high school drama queen to a poor, married immigrant actress who risks it all when faced with the casting couch scenario. Her ethnic look separates her from the crowd, but it's her love of acting and her commitment that will help her surpass all the challenges that are yet to come. Linda currently resides in Los Angeles, CA. In her spare time, Linda likes to read, clean, watch movies, online shop, hike, and do pilates.
