[Fashion + Style] Victoria Lyons debuts ‘Second Skin’ collection at London Fashion Week’s The Future Vintage

We’ve featured Victoria’s work on the site before when she was asked to display some of her beautiful illustration work at the Oxford Street branch of TopShop.

Since then, Victoria has gone on to complete her MA at London College of Fashion in Digital Fashion as well as doing illustrations for Wint & Spirits brand  Chambord UK.

She was amongst the three young womenswear designers chosen to display their collections at The Future Vintage fashion show which took place at the regal Naval Military Club in St James Square.

Her collection entitled ‘Second Skin’ uses illustration and print design on Lycra, Neo Prene and Jersey to illustrate her love of the female form. Her ready-to-wear collection displays layered prints influenced by the neo-expressionism art movement. The digital and hand designed prints play with 2D illustration and are inspired by the works of Willem De Kooning and Jean Michel Basquiat.
