I haven’t been this excited about classical music since A Suite for Ma Dukes (I still get a tad emotional when I listen to the songs). Students at the University of Miami’s Frost Music school were in for a treat when super producer/musician/designer Pharrell Williams stopped by to record some music for his next album with them.
Having composed the score for animated film Despicable Me and also coming on board as the musical consultant for the 84th Oscars, he’s certainly no stranger. The recording, which took place in September last year was entitled ‘I Am Other’.
I’m definitely looking forward to hearing more collaborative projects from Mr Skateboard P…CRS anyone?!
