I am Nik; I’m a giver of life, a seat shifter, highly inquisitive, crafty, and loyal. I run a blog called The Moptop Maven that started this year as part of a New Years resolution to stick with something for longer than one month. – In my blogzine, I discuss everything from natural hair care, DIY projects, to recipe’s and mini courses on self-advancement. – When I’m not blogging, you can catch me roaming the Jewelry District in Downtown L.A, as making jewelry is what pays my bills!

Who and what inspires you?
Oprah & Beyonce are two people that inspire me; their work ethic is impeccable, and they always give 200% to their craft.
Art also inspires me, I love to be visually stimulated; some of my favorites at the moment are pieces from Basquiat, Lawrence Kupferman, and Salvador Dali.
