When Angelina Jolie wore her blue kimono-style Max Azria dress back to front at the 2009 Screen Actors Guild Awards in January, only one eagle-eyed woman spotted it.
London fashion blogger Catherine Kallon, 34, scooped journalists from Vogue and Elle, as well as websites such as Instyle and People.com, to claim that Angelina had reversed the plunging neckline.
Debate raged in fashion circles until Angelina’s stylist finally stepped in to confirm the switch.
It was a moment of triumph for Kallon — and her blog, www.redcarpet-fashionawards.com. Many people assume Catherine is American but actually she’s a north London girl and her fashion HQ is her modest rented studio flat in Holloway.
