[Exhibition] Making Freedom: Riots, Rebellions & Revolutions at The Royal Geographic Society in London

In conjunction with the Windrush Foundation’s commemoration of Caribbean emancipation, ‘Making Freedom’ which is on at London’s Royal Geographic Society until December 20th features  collections from the Royal Geographical Society, the National Maritime Museums, the National Portrait Gallery, the National Archives, Anti-Slavery International and the Imperial War Museum.

The exhibition which features over 80 images and audio visual experiences to engage visitors in learning more about the stories of those in the Caribbean and in Britain who sought to improve the conditions of enslaved Africans shipped to the West Indies.
