[Event] African & Caribbean Art Talk hosted by Thenublk & AADAT

We’re excited to announce we’ll be hosting a livestreamed Google Hangout discussion with AADAT  entitled African and Caribbean Art: Shared Themes and Aesthetics, to be held on August 18th.

AADAT is an art conversational platform, created to facilitate conversations on African and Afro-Diasporan cultural arts on an interactive, dynamic level. AADAT consists of a video interview series, a live forum series, and daily blog posts.

This partnership represents a shared effort by both AADAT and iam:thenublack in promoting dialogue on the arts. We’ll be discussing the reflection of the evolved Caribbean cultural identity in art, and the role that African art has played in this development.

Further information about panelists and discussion topics will be released on August 12th.
