Buki Koshoni: Define Black

Having featured Buki Koshoni on the site, I’m really looking forward to seeing the development of this series.

DEFINE BLACK was conceptualized by Buki Koshoni, in order to gain a wider understanding of the Black British experience.

DEFINE BLACK? is conceived as a series of interviews consisting of Black British figures from various disciplines and backgrounds ranging from the world of art, politics, business and government as well as the general public.

These interviews depicting the struggles, triumphs and the joys of black life in the UK, will work toward creating a dialogue and a greater understanding of a people and culture, resulting in an archive of the past and a road map for the future.
