I was at work when I got a message about this store. The homie DeVon from Creative Beach told me to check it out as she’d seen 9th Wonder rocking one of their shirts at the True School T-Shirt Party in DC last week.
I know I’m not alone in saying that both The Cosby Show and A Different World were part of my childhood and an insight into the lives of a family that I related to and also the experience of going to a historically Black college. Seeing these shirts brought back A LOT of memories, the days when TV was diverse and had some substance; Desmonds, The Real McCoy (to name a few)…I’m about to get misty eyed!
