My name is Theodore Taylor. I am an illustrator/designer and casual photographer/beatmaker/blogger living in Washington, DC. I grew up in Roanoke, Virginia and studied illustration at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia.

who and what inspires you?

 

My family, friends, fellow artists. Music like Flying Lotus, The Mahavishnu Orchestra and Milton Nascimento. Movies like The City of God, Princess Mononoke and Dark Days. East Asian art that I often stare at in the Freer & Sackler Smithsonian Galleries. Old album covers, video games, comic books, cartoons, posters… Life in general.
