Yes that’s right folks, Aml Ameen star of many a UK TV Drama and both Kidult and Adulthood is set to star in ‘Red Tails’ – movie based around the lives of the Tuskegee Airmen.
The movie is being produced by George Lucas and is also being directed by Anthony Hemmingway (who directed the Wire)…so Aml is not doing things by half as you can see.
The film has a number of other young Black actors/entertainers in it including Jazmine Sullivan. It’s currently still in production but I’ll definately be on the lookout for a trailer.
*thinking aloud* maybe Aml will get a pseudo American/British accent like Idris Elba, lol.
